Since 1990 Allan Heydorn, graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism, has been editor of Pavement Maintenance & Reconstruction. During that time he has lead the magazine’s development, guiding the industry’s most-influential publication as it works to provide contractors with essential information on business growth and development while keeping them abreast of industry trends, technological developments in materials and equipment, and on-the-job techniques that can improve productivity and add to a contractor’s bottom line.

In addition to leading an editorial staff devoted to the pavement maintenance industry Allan develops and manages the four-day conference programs for both National Pavement Expo, the industry’s premier trade show and conference program held annually since 1985, and Pavement LIVE (formerly National Pavement Expo West, started in 2000) on the West Coast.
